Try this delicious organic Lemon Syrup from Agropošta
This lemon syrup has a fresh sour taste, made from the ripest lemons from the Mediterranean.
Each lemon is squeezed by hand, because when you do it, you have to do it right. From this bottle, you get at least 22 glasses of lemonade.
Of course, you can also incorporate the lemon syrup into a dessert or make a mocktail or cocktail with it.
Do you need to keep the syrups in the fridge before opening them?
Our syrups are suitable for storing outside the fridge, in a cool dark place, as long as you don't open them!
No concentrates or extracts. What does that actually mean?
This syrup stands out from common concentrates and extracts! This is because most are heavily processed and refined.
It is actually a "short-cut" for brands that do not have the resources or ability to pick, macerate, strain and blend the ingredients themselves.
That means they have more residues and fewer nutritional benefits. At Agropošta, they use a one-step process in which plants picked or harvested by hand, or from fruit they have hand-pressed or sieved, are gently macerated (cold maceration) into a syrup.
Should you store the syrups in the fridge after opening?
Yes! Once you open the bottle, keep it refrigerated and keep the opening of the bottle clean. That way, you can use syrup for months.
Do you use added chemical preservatives, artificial colours and flavours or juice concentrates?
No!
How are your products shelf life?
Our syrups are pasteurised. This is a traditional way of preserving products and means we heat the syrup to 84°C and then fill the sachets or bottles hot.
Why do I sometimes see a cloudy layer at the neck of the syrup bottle?
Agropošta syrups are made from fruit juice and pulp or flowers and leaves of plants. These have pollen, proteins and other natural components that end up in the syrup.
Because no additives are used to stabilise the syrups, you can sometimes see the sediments of pollen and other natural components.
It is best to shake the bottle to get all the components mixed again.
Is Agropošta syrup vegan and gluten-free?
Yes indeed. At Agropošta, they use absolutely no dairy or animal products and all components that go into their production are gluten-free.
The production area is certified as being vegan.
This syrup contains no flavourings or extracts, preservatives or other artificial additives.
In addition, the lemon syrup is low in sugar and gluten-free.
