Hmmm, this one really comes highly recommended. Go for a true classic with this oh-so-tasty vegetarian cheeseburger, made with the MC2 Burger. The fresh BBQ sauce gives the burger an extra summery touch!
Insert the BBQ Outdoor cooking stove on and fry them brown in the garden.
Preparation BBQ Cheeseburger
Preparation 15 minutes | Preparation 10 minutes:
Prepare a BBQ with lid for direct grilling and heat until about 200°C is reached at the grill grate or use the BBQ Outdoor cooking stove of the VUUR LAB.
For the BBQ sauce, heat butter in a pan and fry the shallot in it
When this has softened, add sugar. Stir well and allow to caramelise slightly
Deglaze with sherry vinegar and add BBQ sauce
Warm through well and then remove the pan from the heat
Add the tomato and basil and season with salt and pepper
Cut the buns open and toast briefly on the hot grill.
Brush the BBQ mc² Burgers with oil on both sides and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper
Place the burgers on the BBQ and grill for ± 2 minutes on each side until hot and with grill marks
Melt a slice of cheese on each burger
Spread a little mayonnaise and mustard on the underside of the sandwich
Divide the lettuce and onion rings between the sandwiches
Place a burger on each bun and garnish with a slice of pickle and BBQ sauce.

Ingredients:
4 sesame burger buns
4 mc2 Vegetarian Butcher's Burgers
2 tbsp sunflower oil or betis olive oil
Wood or (coconut) briquettes to fire the stove with
Lighting woks
4 slices (vegan) cheddar
4 tbsp (Vegan) mayonnaise
2 tbsp mustard
1⁄3 head of iceberg lettuce, julienne cut
1 red onion, cut into rings
4 slices of gherkin
salt and freshly ground pepper to taste!
BBQ sauce basil tomato:
2 tbsp butter or sunflower oil
1 shallot, chopped
1 tbsp granulated sugar
3 tbsp sherry vinegar
2 tbsp BBQ sauce
2 tomatoes, seeds removed, finely diced
2 basil leaves, finely chopped
