Welcome to the recipes page!
Always on the lookout for tasty recipes, we are happy to share the jalapeño cheddar sausage.
Besides the many dishes created by Iwan from OER BBQ, we were also surprised with the dish: the Jalapeño cheddar sausage.
Outdoor cooking is art!
Stuffing the fresh sausages with jalapeño peppers and cheddar cheese makes every bite flavourful. Slow grilling the sausages on the BBQ outdoor cooking stove ensures that the flavours blend wonderfully together, the outside gets crispy while the inside melts. This dish is perfect for a summer barbecue, guaranteed to please the whole family!

What do you need for these tasty jalapeño cheddar sausages
For four people:
BBQ Outdoor cooking stove VUUR LAB. (We cooked with the XL this time)
BBQ starter
Briquettes, coals and firelighters
Long matches
Knife and cutting board
Fresh sausage or fresh sausages
Chicken seasoning
Freshly chopped chilli peppers
Cheddar cheese
Preparation
Cut open the top of the sausages or make a slit in them with your fingers.
Sprinkle some chicken seasoning and sliced chillies into the sausages.
Fill the BBQ starter with coals, briquettes and kindling and wait about 20 minutes until it is ready to start the BBQ.
Empty the BBQ starter onto the briquette grate, then place the grill grate in the BBQ outdoor cooking stove.
Let the BBQ outdoor cooking stove heat up to about a temperature of 65 degrees and 'Slow grill' the sausages.
Put some slices of cheddar cheese on the sausages and let it melt a little.
Now place the sausages on the hot part of the BBQ outside cooking stove so that the skin on the underside browns or even pops off.
Taste it!
