Delicious recipe for anyone who loves pineapple
Do you love pineapple? Then this recipe is for you. The pineapple lies smouldering the hot coals on the briquette grate of the BBQ Outdoor cooking stove for hours. When you are done barbecuing, this sweet dessert is the icing on the cake!
TIP:
Serve the warm pineapple with a small glass of Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire with this dessert.
This is a blend of Jack Daniels Old No. 7 and a hot and sharp cinnamon liqueur.
The result is a drink with an exceptionally smooth taste and a fiery finish.

What do you need for this Smokey BBQ Pineapple?
For four people:
1 fresh pineapple
BBQ Outdoor cooking stove VUUR LAB. (We cooked with the XL this time)
Briquettes, coals and firelighters
Long matches
Cinnamon
Brown caster sugar
Preparation
Place the briquette grid in the BBQ outdoor cooking stove.
Fill the BBQ starter with coals, briquettes and kindling and wait about 20 minutes until it is ready to start the BBQ.
Empty the BBQ starter onto the briquette grate.
Place the pineapple in the hot coals
Let the pineapple smoulder in hot coals just until it feels soft on the outside the pineapple will turn black that is no problem otherwise. Occasionally turn the pineapple to heat the other side.
When you think it's ready cut off the outside you can then cut out the inside star if you like and cut nice little cubed slices of it over that sprinkle brown caster sugar and a good snuff of cinnamon.
Serve the pieces of warm pineapple on a pretty platter, smoking board or plate
Tip: Serve with a glass Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire at!
