What do you need for this recipe?
We made a double butter cake in a large Dutch oven.
For this, we used:
2 x a pack of Koopmans, mix for butter biscuits
2 Organic eggs
Almond shavings
400g organic butter (at room temperature)
Fork
Come
Mixer
Baking paper
BBQ outdoor cooking stove
Briquettes or coconut briquettes
BBQ starter
Lighting wicks, lighter or matches
Enjoy!
Preparation
Put the BBQ outdoor cooking stove in a sturdy place
Fill the BBQ starter with coconut briquettes and light it
Meanwhile, prepare the mix, put the two packages of mix for butter cake in a bowl with 1/3 of the egg, and the softened butter. Mix well to form a nice ball. Place the baking paper in the Dutch oven and spread the butter cake ball on it.
Press, sprinkle with the almonds and finally brush with the egg yolk.
When the coconut briquettes are flame red (after about 20 minutes) place them on the briquette grid
Place the Dutch oven on the coals and fill the lid with coals
Bake the butter cake for about 20 minutes.
Let cool and remove the butter cake from the Dutch oven after about 25 minutes
Cut into nice points
Enjoy your meal!
