Light a fire and grill away!

Welcome to the recipes page of the VUUR LAB.
We are always on the lookout for tasty recipes and this time we got to fire up our BBQ outdoor cooking stove again. The grilled chicken with breakfast bacon was already delicious to look at but even more delicious on our plates! Curious about the whole preparation? Read on quickly.

Salty and crunchy

Once the BBQ outdoor cooking stove had reached the right temperature, we could start grilling the chicken breast. We marinated the chicken breast deliciously beforehand with the Betis olive oil and various spices, among others. Using the fish grill, we easily turned the chicken fillet with bacon. Not only useful for grilling fish!

What do you need for this deliciously seasoned chicken breast with breakfast bacon?

Chicken breast
Breakfast bacon
Paprika and curry spices
Olive oil
Cutting board or plate to marinate the chicken on
BBQ tongs
Lighting woks
Matches
Kindling
Peanut sauce (for fans)

Preparation

Place the grill rack in the BBQ outdoor cooking stove.
Fill the BBQ with kindling and start a fire using the kindling wicks and matches.
In the meantime, prepare the marinade in advance; to do this, mix some olive oil with the paprika and curry spices.
Keep an eye on the fire!
Prepare the chicken breast with the marinade, then place on the grill rack.
Sear the chicken breast alternately, about 2 minutes on each side.
Remove them and roll the bacon around them.
Meanwhile, also prepare the peanut sauce and put it in the pan on the grill rack.
Place the chicken breast with breakfast bacon back on the grill rack and keep an eye on the peanut sauce.
Depending on how much wood and how much fire (always stay with it), roast the chicken with bacon until it has turned a nice colour and the bacon looks crispy.
Taste it!
