Flying Dishman Lounge island

The lounge island is the ideal place to unwind from your busy life.
The Flying Dishman, designed by Joep van Lieshout, is a round lounge island made of Polyethylene(PE).
This material is highly recyclable and the product thus contains 60% post-consumer recycled plastic, making it robust and durable.
The remaining 40% is still new plastic.

The circular design of the seat shell allows a 360-degree view and offers room for 2-3 people to lie down.

In colour of your choice: green or orange. The new cushions et consist of a large mattress with a diameter of 165cm and 40mm thickness, two cushions of 70x70cm and a cushion of 100x70cm.
The mattress is made of a light beige waterproof outdoor fabric with a filling of HR polyurethane foam. Also called cold foam.
The cushions are also made of a waterproof outdoor fabric and have polyester fibre filling. The mattress and cushions have a zip so the covers can be removed and washed.
As an accessory to the Flying Dishman, we have a waterproof cover available, protecting the mattress and pillows.
However, it is still strongly recommended to store the cushions and mattress, outside the season of use, inside in a dry place.

You can choose from green or orange cushions.

The Flying Dishman not only looks good but is also sustainable. It is made partly from recycled waste containers and partly from new material mixed together to create a dark green colour.
A major advantage is that this material is resistant to everyday weather conditions and requires virtually no maintenance.

The lounge island is the ideal place to relax and forget about everyday worries.
It offers space for 2-3 people to lie down. Add a few pillows and soft blankets and enjoy each other's company.
