Tasty mix for grandiose good Focaccia bread to accompany drinks!
This borrel bread is delicious to serve with cheese fondue!
How do you make this Focaccia bread?
Add 240 ml of water to the mix and knead by hand or food processor for at least 10 minutes.
Make a nice ball of dough, grease with 10 ml of olive oil and place in a bowl with a tea towel over it. Let the dough rise for 40 minutes at room temperature.
Cover the baking tray with baking paper and place the dough on it in the desired shape, about 2 cm thick. Grease the dough again with the remaining olive oil, poke a few holes in the dough with your fingertips and let it rise again at room temperature for 45 minutes.Heat the oven to 240 degrees, place the baking tray in the middle of the oven and bake the dough for 20-30 minutes. (Baking times are guidelines and may vary depending on the type of oven)
Delicious with a topping of, for example, coarse sea salt, olives, tomatoes or cheese. Add the topping, then bake the bread!
Tip
Serve the focaccia bread with a cheese and pour a nice wine with it!
